RESOURCES

Here are some valuable resources I've run across in my ministry. I've barely scratched the surface of what's out there! Do you have resources to share? Send them to me.

Organizations and Institutes

Center for Liturgy at St. Louis University: http://liturgy.slu.edu
The SLU Center for Liturgy, under the direction of John Foley, SJ, provides this free resource including a "Musician's Path to Prayer" and selections from parishes across the country.

National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM): http://npm.org
NPM is the largest organization of its kind, offering a wealth of benefits to its members, from periodicals to advocacy to certification programs. Their annual National Conventions are always memorable and worthwhile gatherings.

Educational Opportunities

Rensselaer Program of Church Music and Liturgy: http://www.saintjoe.edu/academics/liturgy/index.htm
For over fifty years, this program has been enriching pastoral ministers through its degree and continuing education programs.

Creighton University: http://www.creighton.edu
My home turf, and one of the finest Jesuit universities in the nation. Creighton offers several opportunities for post-graduate education, including the Christian Spirituality Program and the Master of Arts in Ministry program.
