A prayerful and powerful song of invocation, "Open My Heart" is centered around the most fundamental of rhythms: the human heartbeat. Using a chant-inspired melody in the verses and an uplifting refrain, this sung prayer calls us as individuals and as a people of faith to open our hearts and lives to the love, wisdom and call of God. Composed as a morning prayer for a conference of Jesuit educators, "Open My Heart" is well suited as a prelude/call to worship, opening song, or meditation.
